Privacy Policy

Effective October 8, 2026Operated by Hand Crop INC.

This policy explains what personal information Pack Up Cargo collects, what we do with it, who we share it with and what choices you have. It's written to be read, so it's in plain English. If something isn't clear, ask us.

Who we are

Pack Up Cargo is operated by Hand Crop INC., a Delaware corporation ("we", "us"). We're responsible for the personal information described here.

  • Mailing address / registered office: 1007 N Orange St, 4th Floor #671, Wilmington, DE 19801, USA
  • Email: info@packupcargo.com
  • Phone: +1 (364) 999-7583 (Mon–Fri, 9:00–18:00 ET)

What we collect

What you send us through the website. When you use the quote form or contact form, we collect what you type in: your name, email address, and if you choose, your phone number and company name, plus the details of your shipment (origins, destinations, cargo description, sizes, weights, value, services wanted) and any message or reference number.

What you send us by email or phone. If you write or call, we keep the emails and notes of the call, and anything you send with them, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, photos or shipping documents.

Technical information for abuse prevention. When a form is submitted, our server records the time and a hashed (scrambled, one-way) version of your IP address so we can limit spam and repeated automated submissions. We don't use this to identify you or build a profile.

Information from partners about your shipment. When we arrange a shipment, carriers, forwarders, customs broker partners, warehouses and insurers send us information about it, such as booking details, status updates, customs holds or delivery confirmations. These may include names and contact details of the people involved.

What we don't collect. We don't use analytics tools, advertising cookies, tracking pixels or any third-party trackers. We don't collect payment card numbers through the website, and we never ask for them. Please don't send us card numbers, passwords, government ID numbers or other sensitive personal information through our forms. Where a customs filing needs an importer identification number, the licensed customs broker partner will ask for it through its own process.

How we use it

We use personal information to:

  • prepare and send quotes, and answer your questions;
  • arrange, book, document and follow up shipments, storage and related services you ask for;
  • pass the information needed for carriage, customs filings, storage or insurance to the partners doing that work;
  • send invoices and keep business, tax and accounting records;
  • reply to status requests, which may include checking it's really you before we share shipment details;
  • keep the website and forms secure and stop spam and abuse;
  • meet legal obligations, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We don't use your information for marketing in this version of the website, and we won't call or text you except about your quote or shipment.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed for the purposes above:

  • Carriers and forwarders, including ocean carriers, FMC-licensed forwarders, airlines and trucking carriers, to book and carry your shipment.
  • Licensed customs broker partners, to prepare and file ISF, customs entries and bonds, and through them, US Customs and Border Protection and other government agencies that require it.
  • Partner warehouses and packing partners, to receive, store, pack, prepare or forward your goods.
  • Insurers, when you ask us to arrange cargo insurance.
  • Service providers that host our website and email, under terms that let them use the information only to provide their services to us.
  • Professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, where needed.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it, or to protect rights, property or safety.
  • A successor business, if Hand Crop INC. is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done either in the past 12 months.

International transfers

Shipments cross borders, and so does shipment information. If your goods are moving to or from another country, we'll share what's needed with carriers, agents and partners in that country. Those countries may have different data protection rules from yours. We share only what the shipment needs.

Cookies

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. The website may keep a small amount of information in your own browser (for example, estimator inputs or an unsent form draft) so the page works as you'd expect. See our Cookies notice.

How long we keep it

  • Quote requests that don't turn into a shipment: 12 months from the request.
  • Records of booked shipments, including invoices: 7 years, for tax, accounting and claims purposes.
  • Contact form messages and shipment status requests: 24 months.
  • Form logs (hashed IP address and timestamp): 90 days.

After that we delete the information or keep it only in a form that no longer identifies you. We may keep information longer if we're legally required to, or if it's needed for an open claim or dispute.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • ask us to correct information that's wrong;
  • ask us to delete it;
  • not be treated differently for using any of these rights.

To make a request, email info@packupcargo.com or call +1 (364) 999-7583. We'll need to verify it's you, usually by confirming details we already hold, before we act on it. We'll respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we'll tell you why.

You can ask someone to make a request for you as your authorized agent. We'll ask for proof that they're authorized, and we may still need to verify your identity directly.

Some information we can't delete, for example invoices we have to keep for tax purposes, or information needed for a pending claim. If that's the case, we'll tell you what we're keeping and why.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you can ask us to reconsider by replying to our decision or emailing info@packupcargo.com with "Privacy appeal" in the subject. We'll reply with our decision on the appeal and explain it. If you're still unhappy, you can contact your state's attorney general.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for the website and forms, limited access to the people who need it, and spam and abuse controls on our forms. No system is completely secure, so we can't promise that information will never be accessed without permission. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we'll tell you as the law requires.

Children

Our services are for businesses and adults arranging shipments. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we'll make that clear on the website.
