About us
Pack Up Cargo is run by Hand Crop INC. We pack and crate things that need to travel, and we arrange the freight, customs paperwork and storage around them with licensed partners.
Why we start from the box
A lot of shipping trouble starts before anything moves. A pallet stacked crooked, a mirror in a blanket, a machine with nothing stopping it sliding. By the time it's damaged, it's a claims form.
So we start from the packing and work outwards: how it's protected, how it's lifted, what it weighs, how much room it takes up. Those numbers decide which container, which flight and what it costs. Get them right at the start and the rest of the shipment tends to behave.
Who does what
Shipping involves licensed work. Here's who does each part, plainly.

Quotes, coordination, bookings, packing and crating (by our packers or a partner crating shop), chasing documents, and being your one point of contact.
Licensed ocean carriers and FMC-licensed forwarders
Ocean carriage, in full or shared containers. They issue the bills of lading.
Airlines and air freight forwarder partners
Air carriage.
Licensed customs broker partners
Customs entries, ISF filings and bonds, under their license.
Partner warehouses
Storage, receiving, devanning, pick & pack and FBA prep.
Third-party insurers
Cargo insurance, when you ask for it.
Carrier partners
Pickup and delivery trucking in the US.
