Cargo-Hunters is committed to preventing the use of its services for money laundering, terrorist financing, or any other illegal activity. This AML Policy outlines the procedures we follow to detect, prevent, and report suspicious activities, ensuring compliance with international laws and regulations.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all Cargo-Hunters employees, operations, and services, including domestic and international shipments. It also covers interactions with our clients and third-party logistics partners, such as Cargoloop.

3. Client Due Diligence (CDD)

Before processing any shipment, Cargo-Hunters collects and verifies client information, including:

Full legal name or business name

Address and contact information

Government-issued identification (passport, national ID, or driver’s license)

Proof of business registration (for corporate clients)
This information is securely shared with our third-party logistics partners, who perform the necessary verification as part of their compliance framework.

4. Risk Assessment

Cargo-Hunters assesses all transactions to identify high-risk clients or shipments. Factors considered include:

Geographic location of the client or shipment

Nature and volume of the shipment

History of transactions with the client
High-risk transactions are flagged for additional review before processing.

5. Monitoring and Reporting

Cargo-Hunters monitors transactions for unusual or suspicious activity, such as large, unexpected, or inconsistent shipments. Any suspicious activity is documented and reported to the appropriate authorities in accordance with applicable law.

6. Record Keeping

All client information, shipment details, and related documentation are securely maintained for a minimum period required by law. Records are available for internal review and regulatory inspection as necessary.

7. Employee Training

Cargo-Hunters ensures that all employees involved in operations, client interactions, and compliance are trained on AML regulations, risk indicators, and reporting procedures.

8. Cooperation with Authorities

Cargo-Hunters fully cooperates with law enforcement and regulatory authorities, providing information and documentation when legally required.
